The Southampton Buddhist Centre is in a period great growth since opening our distinctive new premises nearly four years ago. Since then there have been approaching twenty new mitra ceremonies, lockdown growth, numerous ordination requests, and this year two ordinations.

Southampton itself is an interesting city with a fascinating history, and is this year applying for recognition as UK City of Culture 2025. It is also surrounded by beautiful Hampshire countryside including the New Forest, with attractive coastline and beaches within reach....
