As March draws to a close, and the clocks have sprung forward an hour, spring is poking its head up through the soil and swelling in buds on branches all around Adhisthana. ‘Fifty Years, Fifty Voices’ is a project cooked up by Lokeshvara and Satyalila last year and supported by the Triratna Trust and Adhisthana Trustees. It’s gathering the ‘voices’ of 50 different Order Members on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Order.

Satyalila and I have put together A Triratna Blake Reader, offering a friendly way in to understanding Blake and the light he can shed on Bhante’s presentation of the Dharma.
It begins with Bhante’s essay ‘Buddhism and William Blake’ first published in the heyday of the ‘Blake era’ around the London Buddhist Centre. Blake was ‘in the air’ just as he’s been around ‘in the DNA’ of Bhante’s approach to the Dharma.

We are writing to inform you of the resignation from the Order of Padmavani, who resides in Dawlish. Sona, as the person that publicly ordained Padmavani in June 1997 at Guhyaloka Retreat Centre, has responded. Padmavani’s Private Preceptor is Padmavajra.

Susiddhi’s funeral and commemoration will be held on Monday 16th April, at 12.30 p.m., at the South Chapel, Grenoside Crematorium (5 Skew Lane, Sheffield, S358RZ). There will be an informal gathering at the Sheffield Buddhist Centre immediately after this. People attending the funeral should travel directly to the crematorium.
On Friday 11th May, at 7.30 p.m., there will be an evening commemorating Susiddhi, at the Sheffield Buddhist Centre.
