Cleaning the lens and a special invitation

From Coogee Buddhist Group on Tue, 18 Aug, 2015 - 04:06

Last Thursday night when talking to  the group after meditation Ratnavyuha used the phrase ‘Cleaning the lens’ when describing the value of meditation. It helps us to see more clearly and have a less distorted take on life.

Meditation helps us cut through a great deal of the complexity that we bring to our experience of life and fosters stability and simplicity.

I hope you can join us for meditation this week (please see invitation / request below)

From Free Buddhist Audio on Mon, 17 Aug, 2015 - 18:18

Our FBA Dharmabyte today is called “Not Just a Matter of Recitation” by Sangharakshita from the talk “Going for Refuge” given in 1965. Day 4 at the ECA

From European Chairs' Assembly on Sun, 16 Aug, 2015 - 22:19

The sun is shining on Adhisthana and we’ve been considering the future of fundraising in Triratna: creating a stronger culture of giving worldwide, so that all the core institutions, services and people on which Triratna’s life depends worldwide (for example, the College of Public Preceptors - responsible for ordinations - Clear Vision, Free Buddhist Audio and Windhorse Publications) are better resourced.
