There has been some Triratna activities in Ukraine over the years, mainly in Odesa, with various visiting Order members, mainly Saddhaloka. There have also been before 2022 international retreats held in Poland that people from the Ukraine attended.

In June 2023 the first Ukrainian, Jan Strocki, was ordained, and received the name Adbhutaja ,which means 'He who is born from what is wonderful'. He currently lives in London.
