This year Prajnaketu, Triratna’s Young Buddhist Co-ordinator, gave the keynote talk on the Big One on the theme of  ’Seek truth, release life’. In it he explores the Buddha’s Noble Quest and how we might follow his example by using the metaphor of leaving the palace so that we can go beyond into a truly ‘religious’ life.  Here is Prajnaketu kicking his talk off - the full talk will follow soon!

“August:
August continued to blaze with sunshine and heat, though eventually it did break and the rains fell with a downpour here or there and rainy days mixed between sunny ones. Wonderful for slowly rejuvenating the very dry and crispy gardens, less attractive for Bhante’s morning walk and sit by the pond.

The wet weather was very noticeable during the Order weekend at the end of the month...
