Here in Paris, spring has arrived and we are preparing for a move into a new Buddhist Centre.

We have found a lovely light spacious place in a peaceful part of Paris, around the corner from a beautiful park. In six weeks, the purchase will be complete and building work will start to transform it from a doctors’ surgery into a Buddhist Centre, which we hope to open in September.

We have managed to raise enough money to cover the purchase and a large part of the building work, but to be sure of having everything we need, including fittings and furniture we need to find another 50,000€.

It sounds a lot doesn’t it? But it really is worth it as it will allow us to have a beautiful Buddhist Centre in Paris in which our current Sangha can flourish and to which we can welcome many new people. It is the beginning of a new era.
