Last year Avikara in Wellington, New Zealand was diagnosed with systemic mastocyosis, a cancer of the blood. The treatment didn’t work and his health has slowly deteriorated; he has gone from walking with a stick, to using a walking frame, and more recently to being in bed at home. Now he is in bed at the hospice.
Over the last week and especially over the last few days, he has become much weaker and very sick....
