Tiratanaloka retreat centre came into being with the purchase of Aberclydach House at the end of 1994. I am delighted to let you know that Marion Pidgeon of the Mid-Essex Sangha will be privately ordained by Vanaraji during a small bespoke retreat. The private ceremony will take place sometime on Friday 4th August and the public ceremony will take place on Sunday 6th August at 2pm in the new Mid-Essex Buddhist Centre.

Last week she who used to be Helen returned to the Windhorse Publications team after three months on leave, most of which she spent on retreat in the remote mountains of eastern Spain. During the retreat she was ordained into the Triratna Buddhist Order and given a new name, Pasadanita, which means ‘she who is led by confidence and clarity’. We’re sure you’d like to join us in congratulating Pasadanita on her ordination. Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu!
