Raising Money for the New Vajrasana Retreat Centre
This Spring friends Maitreyabandhu and Jnanavaca will visit 3 east London cafes, drink 3 hot beverages and eat 3 pieces of cake, each. We need to raise £500 per drink and £500 for each piece of cake = £3,000 in total. This money will buy everything we’ll need for hot beverages at the New Vajrasana Retreat Centre, from installing the new water boilers to new quality cups, cafetiers, coffee tables, spoons and mugs…
I’m writing to you about the question of climate change and our response to it as a Sangha. I believe this is a very serious ethical issue for us and that there is a lot more that we can do between us to help address it. As some of you know this subject has long been close to my heart as it has for many other Order members. I am writing to ask for your help.
