We had a great Sangha evening to launch BAM last wednesday, with three inspiring short talks on issues that have motivated sangha members to give their time and energy on a voluntary basis. I am writing to inform you of the resignation of Sujvala. I am Sujvala’s public preceptor and a few days ago he came to see me to tell me why he wanted to resign. We had a very friendly conversation. After consulting with Saddhaloka (Sujvala’s private preceptor) I have accepted Sujvala’s resignation from the Order.
Sujvala resides in King’s Lynn, UK, and was ordained at Padmaloka in 2005. We all wish him well in his future endeavors.
The 16 women currently attending the 3-month ordination course will be having their private ordinations at various times throughout the day and night between the evening of Sunday, 29th May and the afternoon of Wednesday, 1st June.
The public ordination will take place on Saturday, 4th June, starting at 11:00 a.m. local Spanish time.
