Death of Susiddhi

Dear Order Members,

We are sad to inform you that Dharmachari Susiddhi died around 10pm on the evening of 23 March at the age of 77 years old. Dayavajra was with him and was reading Bhante’s poetry to him at the time. 
 
Susiddhi had been living in a care home in Sheffield since November 2016 following a diagnosis of Alzheimers and a relapse of his Myeloma Blood Cancer (which he was first treated for in 2011).

Resignation of Pundarikini

Pundarikini, who is 76 years of age and lives in Auckland, New Zealand, was ordained in November 1993 at Dhanakosa Retreat Centre in Scotland by Ratnasuri and myself. Sadly due to a serious breach of the second precept we found it necessary to suspend her from the Order at the end of 2016. Resignation of Punyasri

Dear Order members,

Bhante has asked me to inform you that he has received and accepted the resignation of Dharmacharini Punyasri from Auckland, New Zealand. Punyasri was ordained by Bhante in 1987. She sent a very full letter to Bhante which was just for him but has asked that the following letter be made available to the Order more generally. We wish her well.
