So far, in the first fifty years of our Order, there have been very few suspensions or expulsions, and most of those that have taken place have been relatively straightforward and uncontroversial. However with the recent suspension of a senior Order member it has become clear that we need greater clarity as to how these decisions are made.

Pour mettre en pratique les méditations que l’on a apprise dans un cadre encourageant, Camille conduira une matinée de méditation au Centre samedi19 janvier  de 9h45 à 12h. Nous alternerons différentes pratiques, méditation assise, méditation marchée, “juste assis”, afin d’ouvrir une parenthèse de calme pour commencer le week-end en douceur. Matinée réservée à ceux qui ont suivi au moins le stage d’initiation.

La participation financière est libre pour cette pratique.

I’m writing to let you know some sad news that Vipassini (Troon, in Scotland) has fairly recently been diagnosed with a rare untreatable cancer.

In December, after many weeks of treatment for possible infection and following a serious operation to repair an aortic aneurism, she was diagnosed with angio sarcoma (cancer of the lining of the blood vessels). She has been in quite a lot of pain and in and out of...

On Friday 30th November 2018, the Chairs of three of the four main Triratna Buddhist Centres in the South Pacific met in Sydney. European Chairs have long been very well networked via the European Chairs’ Assembly, but such gatherings are still under development in other parts of the world. In Australia/New Zealand, there has never been a Movement Strand (Order members running Triratna Centres) gathering and it is believed that this was the first ever meeting of Chairs across the whole of Oceania.
