I am sad to let you know that Ashvajit died at about 11.0 pm UK time, yesterday evening 20th July. He was aged 82.

Ashvajit has been approaching the end of his life for some weeks in the Care Home in mid-Wales where he has been living for nearly six months. In these last weeks Manjugita from Mexico has been with him every day, and a number of other Order...

It is with great delight that we can announce the appointment of Dharmachari Vajrapriya as an International Order Convenor.

The process of selection was outlined in the June Shabda and the Order Connections online space. Once we had proposed Vajrapriya we gave a six week consultation period. (You can re-read the post on Order connection here).

It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of Dhammacharini Sanghaprabha from Mumbai on 18th July. At the age of 78, she peacefully left this world. Following an accident a few days ago, she was under home care.

Sanghaprabha’s ordination took place on 11th January 2009 with Karunamaya as her private and public preceptor.
