Dh. Viriyalila will lead us again this Sunday April 2, 10 AM-12:30 PM. Following a period of meditation, we will continue our exploration of the Buddhist path of spiritual development. The Buddha taught that things are not as they appear, yet we rely on things to be permanent and substantial. In order to allow ourselves to have direct experiences more in alignment with things as they really are, we need to let go into the unknown. This week, we will explore how we may die to our habitual selves, for example, by taking risks in communication, deepening our relationships, engaging in forgiveness, or acknowledging where we have fallen short in our aspirations. By bringing a Dharmic perspective more fully into our lives, we can call upon a certain level of faith in the Three Jewels (the Buddha, the Dharma and the Sangha) to accompany us in this process of "spiritual death" and that which follows -- a certain spiritual rebirth, the next stage of this five-fold path.
This is our regular community gathering and all are welcome. Offered by donation: $10-$5 suggested. Follow this link to donate by credit card or Paypal.
