This Sunday, August 20, 10AM-12:30 PM, we will continue our summer theme, If the Buddha Lived in Portsmouth. In this series, we are considering how different episodes in the life of the Buddha can open the door to considering how his teachings relate to issues we are facing now in our own lives. This week, we will look at the Buddha's advice on how to choose what path is right for us among the many different suggestions on offer for how to lead a good life. We will be joined this week by Amala, an Order Member from Aryaloka Buddhist Center, our sister community in Newmarket.
Due to all the rain and likely wet ground, we will meet this week inside at Safeway Studios #23, 135 McDonough St. in Portsmouth. This is our regular community gathering and all are welcome. Offered by donation: $10-$5 suggested.
