Sunday May 21, 10AM - 12:30 PM
This Sunday, Dh. Rijupatha will lead us as we continue with our topic: What is the Good Life? Seeing Past Materialism, Inequality and the Cult of Fashion. In this series, we are exploring the Brahma Viharas, or “divine abodes” -- meditations practiced by Buddhists the world over to cultivate kindness, compassion, joy and equanimity. This week the focus will be on compassion, the wish that those who suffer may be free from their afflictions. Join us as we learn how to cultivate compassion for ourselves and all living beings.
This is our regular community gathering and all are welcome, regardless of experience. Offered by donation: $10 - $5 suggested. If you wish to donate by credit card, you can do so here.
Remember we are in a new location: Safeway Studios #23,135 McDonough St. in Portsmouth's West End (map & directions). There is plenty of parking in a free lot across the street and on McDonough. We hope to see you there in the near future!
