Our friend Dhivan tells us:

“Oṃ Bodhicittam Utpādayāmi

This means ‘oṃ! I generate (utpādayāmi) the bodhicitta’.”

Our friend Dhivan, an excellent Pali and Sanskrit scholar, says (see comment below):

“Oṃ Bodhicittam Utpādayāmi

This means ‘oṃ! I generate (utpādayāmi) the bodhicitta’.”

The ‘Bodhichitta’ is sometimes rendered as the ‘will to Enlightenment’ or the ‘heart-mind of Enlightenment’ - signifying the complete dedication of our efforts to cultivate wisdom...

Each time he’s explored the ways Triratna might change, and this latest update in his thinking looks forward again as he revisits old issues, discusses new ones, and frames them all in the context of a vision of a new society founded on principles of the Dharma.

Reflective, provocative, always good humoured, this is an engaging and finally optimistic...

Collection for Safe Harbor Recovery Center

Here’s an update to the collection boxes in the entryway:

Aryaloka is currently collecting for for the Safe Harbor Recovery Center in Portsmouth. Safe Harbor provides support and resources for anyone affected by alcohol and drug addiction. Safe Harbor needs cleaning products, office supplies, and personal care items. We are also collecting non-perishable food for the Newmarket Food Pantry. Please feel free to bring a donation for these charities when you arrive.

Please note: we’re no longer collecting clothing, because they are not needed...
