Love (compassion and practising for others) and liberation (wisdom and practising for ourselves) are both essential aspects of the Dharma life. With stories of the Buddha, anecdotes from Maitrisiddhi's own life, and suggestions around how to respond creatively to the planets' ecological crisis. This talk was given on a weekend retreat at Taraloka for local sangha centres and groups: Shrewsbury, Chester, West Wales and Llangollen.

Mary Hastings becomes Dhipalita, a Sanskrit name meaning ‘She who is protected by Wisdom’. (Long first ‘i’ and long final ‘a’).
