Construction of the stupa is progressing.  In the last two weeks, Aryaloka friend Ralph Phipps dug the foundation hole, and mitra Rick Lee donated the materials and labor for pouring the cement. It took 14 cubic yards of cement. Now, on to the stonework!

Dhammachari Singharaja

From Triratna News on Mon, 16 Jun, 2014 - 22:12With sadness we announce the death of Dhammachari Singharaja, of Solapur, Maharashtra, India.

He passed away at midnight on 14th June 2014 at home, aged 97. Singharaja was publicly ordained on 11th June, 1998, by Subhuti. Due to his great age he had been confined to his home for a long time.
