The North American Triratna Assembly was formed in the summer of 2010 at the North American Order Convention.

There had been a great deal of discussion in recent years about the need for better communication, coordination and decision-making between our three major areas of activity – the Movement, the Order and the College/Ordination Teams. The recent process (Jan 2010) of re-naming the Order and Movement underscored this issue.
