Fredrik Broman was publicly ordained at Dharmagiri Retreat Centre, north of Stockholm, Sweden on Saturday 20th September at 12.00 local time.

He becomes Viriyavasin, a Pali name meaning 'He who has mastery of his energy'.

His private preceptor was Bodhiketu; his public preceptor was Satyaraja.

This is the first Triratna ordination retreat to be conducted in Sweden.
