New View is a residential letting agency aiming to provide ethical services to landlords and tenants while promoting Buddhist values and raising much needed funds for Triratna and for local charities.
All their profits are donated to charity and they encourage their landlords to help choose the charities they benefit. There's no limit to the amount they can donate: the more profit, the more they can give away.
Jayasiddhi says: “It’s great to be able to turn to our landlords at the end of the year and say ‘Thanks for your business, you contributed such and such amount to our profits. Now, which of these charities would you like us to give that money to?’ Our landlords really enjoy taking an active role in the business and our tenants appreciate that their hard-earned money is being put to good use.”
