Triratna’s European Chairs’ Assembly seeks new Safeguarding officer

We are looking for an Order member to carry on the development of Safeguarding policy and practice begun by Munisha in 2013.

This is an opportunity to join a happy and successful team, and to play an extremely helpful role in the life of Triratna: you will work as an extension of the European Chairs’ Assembly’s Development team, under the team leadership of Nandavajra and supported by Munisha. Ensuring co-ordination across Triratna, you will also work with an Ethics Kula comprising Order convenors and College members.

The core members of the Development team are Nandavajra (team leader), Mokshini (project worker), Amalavajra (FutureDharma fundraiser), Prajnaketu (Young Buddhist Co-ordinator) and Munisha (Liaison and Safeguarding; resuming Communications officer post after new Safeguarding officer is appointed).

The extended team includes Utpalavajri (finance) and Liz Basset (FutureDharma Communications and donor support).

We envisage this work as needing one day per week on average. Support is needs-based and will be negotiated with you and guided by the Development Team support ethos and budget limits.  A retreat allowance of up to 8 weeks a year is included.
