Triratna’s European Chairs’ Assembly seeks assistant Safeguarding officer

We are looking for an Order member to work with Munisha and carry on the development of Safeguarding policy and practice begun by her in 2013.

This is an opportunity to join a happy and successful team, and to play an extremely helpful role in the life of Triratna: you will work as an extension of the European Chairs’ Assembly’s Development team, under the team leadership of Nandavajra and supported by Munisha. Ensuring co-ordination across Triratna, you will also work with an Ethics kula comprising Order convenors and College members.

The members of the Development team are Nandavajra (team director), Mokshini (project worker), Amalavajra (FutureDharma fundraiser), Prajnaketu (Young Buddhist Co-ordinator), Munisha (Liaison and Safeguarding), Utpalavajri (finance) and Liz Basset (FutureDharma Communications and donor support).

This is a part time post, hours negotiable. Support is needs-based and will be negotiated with you and guided by the Development Team support ethos and budget limits. A pro rata retreat allowance of up to 8 weeks a year is included.
