Located in the middle of the town, Ipswich Buddhist Centre has events, classes, short courses and meditation sessions on most days of the week.

We organise several residential and non-residential retreats every year. Most events are offered without charge. This helps ensure that the Dharma (the Buddha's teachings) are available to everyone and gives the opportunity to practice Dāna (the Buddhist practice of generosity).

If you are new to Buddhism and meditation our Intro Sessions on a Saturday morning are a great place to start. Alternatively our Thursday evening Friends and Newcomers nights are also suitable.

The best thing is to check our website and just turn up. We are a very friendly Centre and well used to making sure that newcomers feel completely comfortable when they first visit.
