Spring Sangha Weekend Retreat 1-3 April
"The girl was never there! It's always the same. I'm running towards nothing. Again and again and again..."
(free bar of chocolate to the first person to come on the Sangha weekend who knows who wrote that lyric)
Hello everyone, just a reminder about our next Sangha Weekend Retreat, 1 - 3 April, at High Heathercombe Centre, which is a bit north of Widecombe and west of Manaton on Dartmoor. http://www.highheathercombecentre.org.uk
Metaphorically we go into the wild places, the forest, searching for something deeper, higher, bigger, something that makes sense, something to soothe the ache of the soul. But how do we know we are searching for the right thing?
We will be meditating, exploring the image of the forest in Buddhist stories, and the forest as an important mythical place in our heartminds. Oh and of course doing a special ritual among the trees...
The weekend will be led by Satyajit & Vidyadasi
Cost: £75 / £60 low income
We can subsidise one or two places if you are desperate to attend and desperately poor.
Accommodation is in shared dorms, or you can camp if you are hardy...
Please let me (Vidyadasi) know if you want to book.
